The Abraham Fund Initiatives launches the TAFI UK Friends Association
May 29, 2008

The Abraham Fund Initiatives will launch the TAFI UK Friends Association in a festive event, which will be held in the Reform Club London on Monday, June 2nd 2008.

Invitees include: Michael Howard, former head of the Conservative Party, and members of the House of Parliament and House of Lords.

The idea to establish a friends association in London was conceived by The Abraham Fund in light of the growing interest – in the United Kingdom and specifically in the Jewish community – regarding the issues of coexistence and equality between Israel's Jewish and Arab citizens.

The UK Friends Association will work to enhance awareness of these issues and to increase the support for The Abraham Fund's activities in Israel.

The members of the UK Friends of The Abraham Fund include Jews, Muslims and Christians – all united in their belief that Israel can and should build a shared society for Jews and Arabs in Israel.
